With a 25-year career as an international award-winning architect, Jim has spent decades designing for the real world. He understands the tension between structural necessity and aesthetic form. Now, he has transitioned from building the reality of today to documenting the speculative systems of the next millennium.

Every vessel in the Fleet Obscura is designed as if it were to be built. Using a proprietary workflow that blends custom AI engines with 3D modeling and architectural drafting, Jim ensures that every landing assembly, thermal management vent, and semiotic hazard marking serves a functional purpose.
When you look at a Fleet Obscura Master Schematic, you aren’t looking at a painting; you are looking at a documented reality.
Professional CAD Modeling: Architectural software is utilized to engineer ship systems with structural integrity and functional logic

The 3D model is then used to generate perspective, depth and normal maps that can be rendered by custom generative models.
Proprietary Design Synthesis: Custom-trained datasets define the architectural greebles, pattern and color logic of the Fleet Obscura ships and systems.
Philosophical Foundation: Fleet Obscura’s fanatical attention to detail is inspired by the architectural ethos of the International Style - every aspect of the design matters, each building upon the other to create a unique world that feels real and lived in.
Functional Symbology: A comprehensive visual language of hazard markings and operational symbols was developed alongside unique ‘hull art’ and Fleet Registry numbering.
